Spaghetti Tower

Hello everyone, 

Today Matilda Deborah and I made a spaghetti tower and tried to get the tallest tower with a marshmallow on top.

So basically, we got given 100cm of string, 20 pieces of spaghetti, 100cm of tape and a marshmallow and we had to try make a tower and put a marshmallow on top.  We only had 18 minutes! I think our team worked really well together but it was so hard!  The spaghetti kept snapping and the tower didn't stay up! It was good fun though...and I got to share the marshmallow - yum!

Reflection for Hey T.A dance for production

Kia Ora Everyone,

I'm in the Hey T.A dance group for production and we all watched the PATS blues dance group. I really liked everything they did, their dance moves were pretty cool, I really liked how they were on chairs and at the chorus they did jazz hands and kneeled down.

My PMI About This Term

P: My Positive about this term is probably today! Because Its the last day of term!!
Today we had Mid - Winter Breastfast. It was raining quite hard, We also have mufti - day today! And also Keira's coming to my house after school. After today ( Friday ) we will be going to Australia tomorrow!! For the whole holiday!!


M: My Minus of this term would be Last Thursday because...

1. Our netball team had a bye 
2. On the monkey bars I bent my finger back at lunch time and I went to get an x - ray and they said I tore my ligament in my knuckle/finger. 


I: My Interesting thing that happened this term is when we did Jubilate. It was fun 'n all, but I just got a surprise because I thought it would be like next term, but Mr.Grant gave us very short notice.

Choir Jubilate

Choir Jubilate

Kia Ora Everyone, 

On Monday, the O.L.A choir went to Jubilate!

 I sat with Matilda, Polly and Sophie on the way to Saint Mary's Church (Jubilate)

When we arrived, we sat down on the floor and talked until the first practice which was in a couple of minutes from then.

The time flew bye, so we walked in the doors of the church and sat at our pews, first there was a welcome speech which was by Mr Joboline, and then we started to sing the first song until we sang all the 15, and yes i said 15! once we have finished the 15 songs in the practice, we walked out of the massive church and sat down where we were when we were waiting for the practice to start and i was so relived because finally it was morning tea!!!  i was real hungry and guess what we only had 3 minutes to eat i was lucky though because when i am hungry i will eat as fast as a gorilla! so i got all my morning tea just in time...

Oh No! i am so scared for The real Jubalate... "Its ok Liliana Its ok" i mumbled to myself one song done... another one done...  and another, another , another until we are finally done! Then Pope Martin came up and so did Mr Jobolone for the ending speech we left the Church and caught our bus back to school and i felt great!
